One-on-one assessment, usually during one 90-minute session

Fees:

If we are able to cover everything in one assessment session, the fee for this service is $330. If we need to meet more than once, the fee will be pro-rated at my individual session rate of $165 per 50 minutes.

For BC residents ages 16+ *

*(One of the main eligibility criteria for all gender-affirming surgeries in BC is being of the age of majority (in BC, the age of majority is 19). Note: Upper surgery is sometimes possible before the age of 19. In some cases, surgeons may recommend an additional readiness assessment for those under 19.)

As per the Provincial Health Services Authority: Depending on the type of gender-affirming surgeries you are interested in, one or two assessments may be required. If you require two assessments, they must be carried out by different assessors. Additional assessments may be required at the discretion of the surgeon.
